Nora’s realistic landscapes have depth and heartfelt knowledge of the West Coast and her surrealism hints of sprites and spirits hidden in the landscape. By her 20’s, her work was being sold in galleries throughout Vancouver Island and in Vancouver. Campbell River Artist, Nora Muttart, has found great inspiration from the natural beauty of Vancouver Island.

In 1986 Nora graduated with honours from Capilano post-graduate study of stone carving and bronze casting. Renowned sculptor Jack Harmond worked with Nora on her bronze commission The Wild Ones. She continued working on the lost wax technique creating bronze and stone sculptures for the next 25 years. Nora as well as an accomplished painter and sculptor she also designs custom jewellery and has created her own line of pendants and earrings working in partnership with Jeweler Tim Haley.

Nora currently lives in Campbell River, working in all her chosen media. Her work is enjoyed by many private collectors.
